EMPIRICAL FORMULA: C₉H₁₀O₃

CHEMICAL NAME: Anhydride isomethyltetrahydrophthalic

Produced according to TU 38.103149-85 with amendment 5.

It is an easily crystallizing liquid (below 20⁰C), readily soluble in gasoline, toluene, acetone, ether; at water absorption it transfers
into corresponding acid. It is used as a liquid hardener for epoxy resins and compositions based on them (hot hardening).

Notes: when storing at the temperature below 20 oC the crystallization of IMTHPA is allowed. In this case the product should be warmed at 50-60 oC till the moment when crystals disappear.

SAFETY REGULATIONS: It belongs to highly hazardous materials (2-d Class of Hazard).

GUARANTEED STORAGE LIFE: Shelf life is 6 months.

PACKAGE: Steel containers, drums, barrels with unchangeable bottoms of 200l.
