It is an efficient stabilizer for wide range of polymeric materials, various rubbers. It is a heat stabilizer for polyolefines, polystyrene, thermoplastic glue and coatings, it protects lubricating and transformation oils, petrol, different types of fuel from oxidation.
It is nontoxic and allowed for use in articles contacting with food-stuffs and biological organisms. It is water-insoluble and soluble in oils, toluene, acetone, partly in ethanol, chlororganic solvents.
