It is a powder-like or scaly product. It is soluble in methanol, acetone, carbon tetrachloride, toluene. It is used as an inhibitor for thermal polymerization, as a nonstaining antioxidant for white and colored rubbers. It is an inhibitor for gasoline and diesel fuel oxidation, it allows to prolong storage life up to 6 years. It is high effective inhibitor in technological processes of styrene and butadiene extraction.
