"Sterlitamak Petrochemical Plant" is one of the leading enterprises of the petrochemical complex in Republic of Bashkortostan. It holds its position in the inner market as well as in the foreign market for many years. Having been founded in 1963 as an experimental plant for isoprene rubber production it turned into the largest manufacturer of multipurpose and competitive products.
Actually all range of manufacturing products (currently amounting to more than 20 items) is the result of purposeful research works and introduction of own invention.
The scientific workers of our scientific and research centre obtained 377 copyright certificates and 89 patents for inventions on the basis of which 95 technological processes were developed in production.

The basic line of the enterprises activity is a production of wide-range phenol antioxidants, known as "BHT" (Agidol). They are used in refineries, in production of synthetic rubbers, vulcanizates, plastics, fibres and other polymeric materials as well as in feed- and foodstuffs, cosmetic industry. The share of these antioxidants is more than a half of the total production output volume.

Another line of activity is production of specific liquid rubbers, epoxy hardeners and other petrochemical products.

Currently the production of non-lead ecology friendly high-octane additives to gasoline is successfully develops. The production is mainly based on use of side products of the process.

For long time operation the plant has gained the reputation of a reliable business partner producing the high quality products to be used actually in all regions of Russia as well as in many CIS countries and through all over the world.
