History

Sterlitamak Petrochemical Plant, JSC is a unique enterprise specializing in the production of multi-profile low-tonnage chemical products. The enterprise firmly holds the leading position in the production of phenolic antioxidants of the Agidol trademark, high-quality butadiene-styrene and isoprene rubbers for general and special purposes, aviation fuel, catalysts, high-octane gasoline additives (MTBE), hardeners for epoxy resins and other petrochemical products.

The products of the Sterlitamak Petrochemical Plant are used in the oil refining, food, medical, cosmetic industries, as well as in the production of plastics and rubber products.

The geography of deliveries of products from SPP covers half the globe, they are used in all regions of Russia, Southeast Asia, in many CIS countries and far abroad.

In February 2024, the company"s reorganization process was completed by merging Sintez-Kauchuk, JSC with Sterlitamak Petrochemical Plant, JSC. The form of unification of the two production sites implied the unification of the assets of these companies and scientific potential, as well as the consolidation of opportunities for raising funds and implementing larger projects. From this moment on, the entire product line manufactured at the industrial sites is released under the brand of SPP, JSC.

SPP, JSC is part of the Ruschem group of companies, a management organization of a group of large chemical enterprises in Russia, united in production cooperations and included in the petrochemical, soda, chlor-alkali, titanium and agrochemical clusters.
