The production of phenolic antioxidants of the Agidol brand has been audited at SPP JSC for compliance with the requirements of the religion of Judaism. Phenolic antioxidants produced in Sterlitamak are recognized as kosher.

Specialists from the Kashrut Department of the Chief Rabbinate of Russia visited the production site of phenolic antioxidants of the Agidol brand to ensure that products by SPP JSC comply with all necessary standards.

After careful examination of all stages of production, the auditors concluded: the products used in the food and feed industry are kosher. Among phenolic antioxidants there are products used in the food and feed industry. Agidol feed grade is used as an antioxidant additive in various feeds, technical and food fats, oils, fish, bone and grass meal to inhibit oxidative processes in them, preserve carotene and vitamins. Agidol-1 crystalline abroad is widely used for stabilization of a number of food products: chewing gum base, potato granules, soda water, frozen fish products, margarine, nuts, meat and meat products, dry yeast. A kosher certificate is required to allow the use of the phenolic antioxidant Agidol-1 in food and other products. For similar purposes, SPP JSC annually receives a Halal certificate.

A positive result of the audit for Sterlitamak Petrochemical Plant JSC was the receipt of a kosher certificate. This document certifies that the products are recognized as meeting kosher requirements according to the opinion of the Kashrut Department of the Chief Rabbinate of Russia. According to these requirements, only ecologically clean, healthy products, i.e. products “suitable for body and soul,” may be eaten.
