SÐÐ JSC IMPROVES STATISTICAL PROCESS CONTROL SYSTEMFrom November 19 to 22, training was held for employees of the international certification department and the technical control department of Sterlitamak Petrochemical Plant JSC under the program “Statistical Process Control and Analysis of Measuring Systems.” The aim of the training is to master the tools of technological process management based on the collection and analysis of statistical data. Statistical management is used for continuous monitoring and control of key processes in the enterprise, including quality assessment of raw materials and components, and all production processes. The essence of statistical methods comes down to one rule: reducing variation or variability of the process, in other words, the process must be stable and guaranteed to be controlled over time. “Product quality must be built into the process, without relying on the results of acceptance control, comments Svetlana Finogentova, head of the quality management department. - Our consumers also oblige us to use these methods in production processes, in particular, this is required by the IATF 16949 automotive product safety standard.” SPP JSC is a second-tier supplier for the automotive industry, supplying rubbers to tire manufacturers and manufacturers of rubber technical products. For example, the consumer"s specifications for the supplied product include a mandatory requirement - priority indicators (in most cases, it is Mooney Viscosity indicator in rubbers), which are subject to statistical processing by the manufacturer using the SPC method, according to which the process reproducibility and stability indices Cp and Cpk must correspond to certain values (calculated on the basis of quality indicators obtained over a certain period).” During the four-day training, the trainees were also introduced to other modern statistical methods, in particular, the method of measurement systems analysis (MCA), and learned how to analyze the results obtained. At the end of the training, a knowledge test was conducted, allowing the participants to consolidate the received training and practical material. At the end of the training, the employees of the international certification department and the QC department of Sterlitamak Petrochemical Plant JSC received certificates of successful completion of the training and advanced training. |
