A research on possibility of using its own raw materials for the production of new types of products continues at the Central Plant Laboratory.

Lab scientists at the Special Products Dept of the Central Plant Laboratory of Joint-Stock Company Sterlitamak Petrochemical Plant developed a new grade of polyurethane rubber - “B” using its own raw materials on request of a Perm client.

In March 2019, the personnel of the H-4-5 production shop produced 900 kg of modified product No. 7. According to the results of laboratory and industrial tests it was established that according to their physico-chemical characteristics the obtained rubber meets the requirements of technical specifications. This result was facilitated by a thorough check of the quality of the raw materials and reagents involved in the synthesis before conducting the studies as well as the stepwise monitoring of the process: from the loading of components to the quality analysis of the intermediate and finished product.
