Sterlitamak Petrochemical Plant became an exhibitor of the 12th International Exhibition Composite-Expo 2019 which was held in Moscow in late April with the support of the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs.

The Composite-Expo exhibition is organized annually and is the only international specialized exhibition of composite materials, technologies and equipment in Russia which clearly demonstrates achievements in the field of materials science development. It is designed to help manufacturers establish new business contacts and partnerships, exchange scientific and technical information, adopt and implement innovative technologies in the production of composite materials and develop production and economic ties.

138 exhibitors from 17 countries of the world: Austria, USA, Germany, Italy, PRC, Luxembourg, Macedonia, Belarus, Russia, Turkey, China, Iran, France, the Czech Republic, Azerbaijan allocated on an area of about 5,000 square meters.

The audience of visitors of the exhibition was about 10,000 specialists of various industries that indicates the needs of the Russian market in the use of modern innovative materials and technologies in various industries. There was much to see: raw materials and components for the production of composite materials, fillers and modifiers, semi-finished products (prepregs), industrial products made of composite materials, fastening systems in them, production technologies of composite materials with special and specified properties, as well as surface treatment of products, equipment and process hardware for the production of composite materials, tools for processing, computer modeling, adhesives, sealants and much more.

The Sterlitamak Petrochemical Plant presented its products to visitors. The company’s exposition was focused on products that are in demand in various areas related to the production of high-quality polymers, epoxy resins and glass plastics - IMTHPA (it is used as a hardener for “hot” curing of epoxy resins and epoxy resin-based compositions ensuring high physical and mechanical characteristics of hardened systems, excellent moisture-proof properties, good electrical performance, climatic resistance), as well as a phenolic antioxidant under the brand name Agidol-53 (being a hardener of epoxy materials with enhanced performance properties which is used for bonding and corrosion protection of building structures, preparation of adhesive compositions of aviation applications, during production of glass-reinforced plastics, included in preparation of printed circuit boards, structural materials, electrical insulation and sealant compositions).
