In May this year, the Sterlitamak Petrochemical Plant (SNHZ) produced a light rubber of brand SKS-30 ARKPN. In terms of its properties the released product does not differ from the commercial rubber SKS-30 ARKPN, and in appearance it is able to compete with foreign analogues.

At SNHZ, the rubber brand SKS-30 ARKPN is commercially produced, which is used in the manufacture of white and colored rubber products, as well as in automobile tires for lining the light sidewalls. The lighter the rubber, the wider the area of its application, and the higher the competitiveness of this rubber on the world market. Therefore, the company management has set a goal to find a possibility to obtain a light product that is not inferior in appearance to foreign analogues.

The scientists of the Central Plant Laboratory together with the technical service of the company have successfully met this challenge.
