AVIATION GASOLINE OF THE “STERLITAMAK PETROCHEMICAL PLANT” IS RECOMMENDED FOR USE IN CIVIL AVIATIONThe Sterlitamak Petrochemical Plant confirmed the possibility of use of B-91/115 brand aviation gasoline of its own production in civil aviation. The work was carried out in conjunction with the State Research Institute of Civil Aviation. In the course of its implementation, an assessment of the production technology and quality control of aviation gasoline at Sterlitamak Petrochemical Plant JSC was made, the produced pilot batch was studied, a program for monitoring the use of this fuel in civil aviation aircrafts was developed and approved, in particular, aircrafts of AK Air Light JSC, Kazan Aviation Enterprise and RusAvia LLC. So, during the year, the use of B-91/115 brand gasoline was monitored on An-2 aircrafts, whose total flight time was 3,347 hours. Pursuant to the reports of aviation support engineers, specialists of the laboratory of fuel and lubricants of JSC “Ufa International Airport” and State Research Institute of Civil Aviation, during the operation of the new fuel, the flight performance of the aircraft did not differ from the scheduled ones, there was no negative impact on the operation of aircraft engines, early replacement of filters was not performed. This confirms the specification data of the product on the compliance of its quality characteristics with the requirements of GOST 1012-2013 and industry regulatory and technical documentation. Based on the positive results obtained, B-91/115 brand aviation gasoline produced by Sterlitamak Petrochemical Plant JSC was recommended for use in civil aviation.
