The organization of production processes of JSC “Sterlitamak Petrochemical Plant” has become a subject of study for consumers of phenolic antioxidants.

Representatives of the Brazilian branch of the company Takeda - an international pharmaceutical company headquartered in Osaka (Japan), which specializes in research in the field of oncology, gastroenterology and central nervous system, the development of special programs in the field of cardiometabolic diseases, as well as vaccine production, audited the petrochemical site of JSC “Sterlitamak Petrochemical Plant”.

The organization of production of Agidol-1 Crystalline in terms of IPEC (International Pharmaceutical Excipients Council) compliance was assessed. Since Agidol-1 Crystalline is used as an antioxidant in food oils and fats, cosmetic oils and creams, medicinal ointments, it is widely used to stabilize a number of food products. During the inspection of its production, auditors paid special attention to whether the equipment and infrastructure used meet the requirements of the standard; as well as the quality of raw materials, the level of qualification of manufacturers and laboratory technicians who control the quality of end products, what are the working conditions created, and the developed technological documentation.

During the visit, representatives of Takeda visited International Certification Department of LLC "TAU PetroChem Management, workshop N-13-14 of JSC “SPP”, warehouse shop, technical control department, and offered recommendations for improvement of corporate quality management system.
