The enterprises of the petrochemical group of LLC “TAU PetroChem Management” have successfully passed the environmental control check.

JSC “Sintez-Kauchuk” and JSC “Sterlitamak Petrochemical Plant” have successfully passed a comprehensive inspection in the field of environmental protection activities, organized by the Bashkir inter-district environmental prosecutor"s office. Specialists from the Department of Rospotrebnadzor for the Republic of Bashkortostan, the Ministry for Nature Management of the Republic of Bashkortostan, the Department of State Analytical Control of the Republic of Bashkortostan, Federal State-Funded Healthcare Institution of the Hygienic and Epidemiological Center for the Republic of Bashkortostan were involved in the inspection.

During the inspection, which was carried out from August 9 to September 7, air samples were taken at the border of the sanitary protection zone of the enterprises, as well as in the area of sources of industrial emissions of pollutants, sewage and natural water, ashes generated from incineration of industrial waste; documentation related to the activity of the plants in the field of compliance with environmental legislation was analyzed; industrial sites were inspected.

According to the final act, no violations of industrial safety requirements have been revealed in the area of sanitary and epidemiological well-being of the population, environmental protection, environmental safety at the enterprises.

During 2019, the enterprises of the petrochemical group of LLC “TAU PetroChem Management” have been audited twice in the field of environmental protection, including those initiated by representatives of the public concerned about the problems of pollution of the Sterlitamak territories adjacent to the industrial zone.

Inspections confirmed that JSC “Sintez-Kauchuk” and JSC “Sterlitamak Petrochemical Plant” committed no violations of pollutant emission standards.
