JSC “Sterlitamak Petrochemical Plant” is one of the leading producers of Agidol Feed Grade. This product is widely used as an antioxidant additive in various feeds, premixes, technical and food fats, oils, fish, bone and herbal meals to inhibit oxidative processes in them, preserving carotene and vitamins. Production of antioxidant is organized in accordance with the requirements of the European standard FAMI-QS (Feed Additives and Premixtures Quality System European Association), which is based on the principles of GMP, ISO, HACCP standards and aims to ensure the safety of products at all stages of the chain: production, storage and marketing by minimizing the risk of dangerous ingredients entering the food chain.

“Every year the company confirms the compliance of the product quality with legislative norms, - explains Guzel Valeyeva, Head of International Certification Department of LLC “TAU PetroChem Management”. In the near future we will again have to undergo the procedure of recertification of the entire quality and safety management system. Since the sixth version of the FAMI-QS standard has been released, we have initiated a diagnostic audit of the production of Agidol Feed Grade and training of specialists of JSC “SPP” and LLC “TAU PetroChem Management”, responsible for implementation and operation of the quality management system according to FAMI-QS, a new control system. By the way, during the audit the openness and motivation of the company"s employees at all levels was noted, which created a favorable atmosphere and ensured the effectiveness of the audit.”

The training was conducted by a representative of the German concern TUV SUD in the EEU countries. The training focused on correct production practices, principles of process control and procurement, risk management and enterprise capabilities, and much more.

The next step will be to make adjustments to the production management system of Agidol Feed Grade production taking into account the recommendations made during the diagnostic audit.
