JSC “STERLITAMAK PETROCHEMICAL PLANT” PRODUCES A WORLD-CLASS PRODUCT
JSC “Sterlitamak Petrochemical Plant” expanded its product range by developing a fundamentally new type of Mannich base - Agidol-3 crystalline. Mannich base (Agidol-3) is a highly effective antioxidant with a wide range of applications, including in the production of additives for oils, diesel fuel, as an inhibitor of thermopolymerization in technological processes of styrene extraction, as a stabilizer for synthetic elastomers, thermoplastic elastomers, and acrylate adhesives. It is produced at JSC SPP in powdery and flaky form with a color ranging from light yellow to brown. This product is being successfully sold on the Russian market, but to enter foreign partners, it was necessary to change its physical characteristics. In particular, to achieve chromaticity up to 30 APHA units and crystal form. For the implementation of the project, the company"s management has allocated about 13 million rubles. At present, the specialists of the laboratory for the synthesis of phenolic stabilizers at the Central Plant Laboratory of JSC “SPP” have developed a unique method for obtaining a product in crystalline form, an alternative to the existing one. Experimental samples of Agidol-3 crystalline have been successfully tested abroad. For the stream production of a new product at JSC “Sterlitamak Petrochemical Plant”, one of the installations of Agidol production site was reconstructed. The production workers plan to reach the production capacity of Agidol-3 by the end of 2020. |
