ENTERPRISES OF “TAU PETROCHEM MANAGEMENT” PETROCHEMICAL GROUP PROVIDE FINANCING FOR ENVIRONMENTAL PROJECTSThe enterprises of the petrochemical group "TAU PetroChem Management" continue to finance projects to preserve the ecological balance in the field of their activities, despite the global economic crisis. JSC “Sintez-Kauchuk” and JSC “Sterlitamak Petrochemical Plant”, being the largest petrochemical enterprises in Bashkortostan, annually set their technical specialists the task of minimizing the negative impact of production on the environment. At the end of 2019, the output of the main products at the enterprises exceeded the indicator of 2018 by 4%, but this did not affect the deterioration of environmental indicators due to the implemented projects in the field of environmental protection and the improvement of the corporate environmental management system. The comparative analysis noted a reduction in emissions of air pollutants by 464.3 tons; wastewater volume - by 13639 thousand m3; the amount of waste generated - by 3742 tons. The cost of environmental protection measures amounted to about 200 thousand rubles. In 2019, a targeted corporate environmental program was made up of measures in the field of air and water protection, production and consumption waste management, environmental education of the population, and improvement of the urban environment. This year it is planned to improve environmental performance. The control over the implementation of measures within the framework of the program to improve environmental efficiency in the operation of dust collection plants will be tightened; to prevent accidental emissions of pollutants into the atmospheric air, which will increase the degree of its purification. The PN-7 flare will be reconstructed to prevent the release of soot into the atmosphere; maximum classification of waste was organized in workshops and divisions of enterprises (within the framework of the prohibition of the disposal of a number of waste containing useful components and their direction for subsequent use). Increased attention - to the quality of chemically contaminated wastewater; the efficiency of biological treatment facilities; professional retraining of employees; updating environmental documentation; preparation for the accreditation of the industrial sanitation laboratory with the expansion of the scope of accreditation.
