The enterprises of the petrochemical group “TAU PetroChem Management” LLC are considering the possibility of building steam boiler houses on their own territory.

The management company "TAU PetroChem Management" LLC is discussing a proposal for the construction of two boiler plants for generating steam 16 ata and 30 ata for the needs of the production facilities of JSC “Sintez-Kauchuk” and the petrochemical site of JSC “Sterlitamak Petrochemical Plant”, - the chief power engineer of “TAU PetroChem Management” LLC Nikolay Orlov said. To fully meet the demand of petrochemical enterprises in thermal energy, the capacity of the boiler houses should be about 350 tons of steam per hour. Russian high-performance equipment can cope with this task. Currently, the company"s managers are selecting suppliers, they visited JSC “Polikraft Energomash” (Smolensk region, Safonovo) and LLC “Entroros” (St. Petersburg), conducted preliminary negotiations and technical consultations.

The implementation of the project can significantly improve the economic performance of petrochemical enterprises - at present, the costs of purchasing steam occupy a significant part of the company"s total energy consumption, the appearance of its own boiler houses will change the situation.
