The general managers of JSC “Sterlitamak Petrochemical Plant” expressed an interest in the modern achievements of chemical science presented at the 23rd International Exhibition “CHEMISTRY-2020”.

The recognized international industry project brought together market leaders, representatives of small and medium-sized businesses at Moscow’s Expocentre who presented to their colleagues and partners the best technologies, equipment and innovative developments for the chemical and petrochemical industries, as well as chemical products for machine building, food and medical industries, military-industrial complex and agro-industrial complex. Innovations were presented in large specialized sections such as “Chemistry, Petrochemicals”, “Chem-Lab-Analyt”, “Chemical Machinery. Pumps”, “Green Chemistry”, “Plastics Industry”, Corrosion Protection Salon, Startup Chemzone, “Automation and Digitalization of Production ”, “Services ”.

This year the focus is given to innovation and high technology. The visitors got acquainted with the equipment for dosing and sample preparation automation in laboratory work, a plant for processing organic waste into diesel fuel, desulfurization technology based on glycol drying units and catalysts for their implementation; assessed the effectiveness of metal polymers allowing to reduce the cost of repairs (buildings, structures, equipment); antibacterial plastics, rubbers and antiseptics based on surface modification technology by nanoparticles and much more.

The VIII Moscow International Chemical Forum organized by the Russian Union of Chemists was held as part of the Chemistry-2020 exhibition business program. Competitiveness of the Russian chemical industry in new economic reality, overcoming the consequences of the coronavirus crisis in the industry, the evolution of chemical products and technologies, issues of import substitution, logistics and safety of chemical products have been discussed there.

Four days of work resulted in a lot of optimal solutions for business, strengthening business relations, concluding profitable contracts.
