Sterlitamak Petrochemical Plant JSC acted as a gasoline partner at the 18th All-Russian meeting of aviation enthusiasts “Open Sky”, providing aviation gasoline Avgas 100LL.

 The festival of aviation enthusiasts was held for two days at the Pervushino airfield. SPP, JSC once again became a participant of this grand festival, acting as a fuel sponsor and partner.

This year the festival brought together more than 170 participants on 60 aircraft from 35 regions of Russia. The “Open Sky” aviation enthusiasts" meeting was attended by about 5,000 spectators.

The special guest of the program was Svetlana Kapanina, seven-time absolute world champion in women"s aerobatics, Honored Master of Sports of Russia, Honored Coach of Russia, 1st class flight instructor. Having lifted an aircraft fueled with Avgas 100LL aviation gasoline, the master of celestial turns demonstrated an exciting show and the highest level of aerobatic art.

Production of aviation gasoline under SPP, JSC brand started in 2017. The product range includes the production of two brands Avgas 100LL and B-91/115. At the same time, the number of customers is growing every year. Thus, in 2023, shipments reached the maximum value since the launch of the project and reached 4,480.5 tons.

Aviation gasoline is used in piston aircraft engines of small rotorcraft and helicopters. The main consumers of liquid synthetic fuel are regional and small aviation enterprises, private pilots performing agricultural work and flight training in aero clubs.

The requirements for aviation fuel are very strict, so the quality of Sterlitamak Petrochemical Plant JSC products is carefully controlled at all stages. Currently, the plant"s products are supplied to all regions of Russia and a number of neighboring countries, including Kazakhstan, Georgia, Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan, Armenia and Mongolia.

 “Since our aviation gasoline entered serial production, its quality has been maintained at a consistently high level. Aviation gasoline produced by SPP, JSC is a high-quality product that meets the stringent standards required. The testing center of the technical control department located at the production site is accredited in the national accreditation system (Rosaccreditation) and included in the national part of the Unified Register of Conformity Assessment Bodies of the Eurasian Economic Union, which once again confirms high quality standards of aviation gasoline produced by SPP, JSC,” notes Oleg Shurupov, Acting Executive Director.
